Eric Wenzel D.D.S., F.A.G.D. has been serving the Bellingham community since 2009. After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in bioengineering, he went on to pursue his dental education at New York University. While in school, Dr. Wenzel received numerous honors. He received an award for Excellence in Periodontology from the American Academy of Periodontology, served on the New York University Judicial Board, which maintained the ethical standards of the college, and achieved an Honors Residency at Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx.
Recently, Dr. Wenzel received his Fellowship (F.A.G.D.) from the Academy of General Dentistry, an award fewer than 7% of dentists receive.
Community service is the cornerstone of Dr. Wenzel’s practice. He received a Certificate of Appreciation and a 3 Year Service Award from John C. Lincoln Pediatric Dental Clinic in Phoenix, AZ for his volunteer work. He has served the local migrant community through Medical Teams International. He also volunteered at various local community events. Dr. Wenzel also supports and sponsors local youth teams here in Bellingham.
Dr. Wenzel is currently licensed in Washington, Idaho, and Arizona and maintains Moderate Sedation Permit in Washington. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Mount Baker Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
When he is not at the office, he and his wife are busy chasing their children around Whatcom’s beautiful trails.

Dr. Marth graduated from the University of Nebraska and attended Creighton Dental School. She practiced in Omaha, Nebraska and was a Maxillofacial Prosthodontic Instructor at Creighton Dental School. After meeting her husband on a backpacking trip, they decided to move closer to the adventure and make their home in Bellingham. Their enthusiasm for the area has led to several family members also making the move and they couldn’t be happier. The newest (and tiniest) member of the family joined them last year when they welcomed their baby boy during our big snowstorm. Dr. Marth is honored to be the President-Elect of the local Mount Baker District Dental Society and is active in several national organizations that feed her passion for continuing education.

Jenise—Office Manager
I am the friendly voice over the phone and the first smiling face you will see when you enter our door. I have worked in dentistry for over 20 years and Dr. Wenzel since 2009. I am passionate about being an advocate for the patient, navigating the confusing world of insurance, finance, and unknown treatment, all the while building personal relationships. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and the best little dog on the planet!

Cheryl—Registered Dental Assistant
I have enjoyed over 20 years of experience in the dental field, including working as part of our wonderful team. Being a survivor of “terminal” cancer as a teenager as given me a special empathy for patients dealing with the fear and uncertainty that often comes with medical procedures and I excel at helping those patients walk through their treatment with peace and confidence. Outside the office, I am mother to four sons and grandmother to three grandchildren. I love participating in all manner of dog sports with my four bulldogs, including some TV and movie work.
